Tyreek Hill pokes Andy Reid's belly as pitchside footage captures hilarious reunion with Patrick Mah

Tyreek Hill ensured there was no awkwardness in his reunion with the Kansas City Chiefs in a hilarious moment captured by pitchside cameras.

Reigning Super Bowl champions the Chiefs took on AFC Championship rivals the Dolphins in the first of two NFL games to be staged in Frankfurt over the next fortnight.

It was the first time Hill had come face-to-face with his previous employers since joining the Miami Dolphins in a blockbuster trade last year.

As the clock ticked down to kick-off in Frankfurt, Hill surprised his former head coach Andy Reid on the touchline.

The 29-year-old sneaked up behind the man they call 'Big Red', playfully poking his stomach before sharing a touching embrace with his former boss and mentor.

With Hill on the Chiefs touchline, quarterback Patrick Mahomes took the opportunity to reconnect with his one-time offensive weapon with a warm pre-game embrace.

Hill played five seasons at the Chiefs, winning the 2019 Super Bowl before swapping Kansas for Miami in a deal that made him the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history.

Footage from the warm-up also showed Hill sharing a heartfelt hug with Chiefs tight-end Travis Kelce.

Earlier this week, Hill spoke fondly about his time with the Chiefs, saying he enjoyed his experience with the franchise whilst promising that they would "get this work" in Sunday's pivotal matchup.

Meanwhile Chiefs head coach Reid was full of praise for his former star player.

Reid said on Friday: "He's a heck of a player, and they've got a few of those. They've got a couple of great players on that team offensively and defensively.

"He's been doing this a long time at a very high level, and he hasn't slowed down. He's putting up great numbers.

" It's a great challenge for us and our secondary to work against him. That's what we're practising for."

Hill's afternoon ultimately ended in disappointment as the Chiefs held on for a 21-14 victory.

The Chiefs raced out to a 21-0 lead before touchdowns from Cedrick Wilson Jr. and Raheem Mostert pulled Miami to within seven points.

But any hope of a late Dolphins comeback were extinguished as Tua Tagovailoa fumbled a decisive fourth-down snap to hand the ball back to Kansas with less than one minute remaining.
