Tabitha Brown to Wendy Williams: I pray that true love finds you & holds you tight

I first saw Tabitha Brown in a Buzzfeed video about vegan cooking. Her personality is amazing, she’s more than just an “influencer” and she makes me want to go vegan. We’ve covered her before, when she was putting out a vegan cookbook and an inspirational book. She just seems like a lovely person and she often goes viral for her videos giving inspirational quotes in her soothing voice.

Tabitha is also an expert in that particular way Christian southern women have of shading someone by praying for them. In fact she just taught a master class in it. Wendy Williams, who often attempts to drag women who are way out of her league, used Tabitha in her “Hot Topics” segment on Thursday. You can see that in the video below, I’ve queued it up to that part. Wendy basically said Tabitha’s marriage was going to fail because Tabitha told her husband he could retire from the LAPD after 15 years and pursue his dreams. Wendy’s audience clapped for Tabitha after hearing that, but Wendy shook her head “no” and projected her own issues onto Tabitha’s marriage. Wendy said “I was married to one of those. Go live your dreams, but stay with me. I see how that turned out.” Plus Wendy mocked Tabitha’s amazing voice. It was all very weak, like the time she tried to come for Dionne Warwick and got her ass handed to her.

Tabitha went viral for her incredible response to Wendy. She posted a video where she said she’s been with her husband for 23 years, that they started out broke together and that he worked so she could pursue her dream. Now that she’s successful he can retire to do what he wants like they planned. Then Tabitha prayed for Wendy and said she hoped Wendy would find a love like she has! It was awesome. You can see Tabitha’s response above and here’s most of what she said. I went overboard typing this because I love her.

First of all Wendy Williams, God bless you. People sent me a little clip and I said ‘oh my God, the pain this woman must be in.’ Wendy, the pain you must be in to feel this way and I’m so sorry.

23 years I’ve been with my husband. Broke for a very long time, together. Struggled for a very long time, together. Succeeded for the last couple of years, together. My husband took a job… 15 years ago to help support my dream… This was an agreement that my husband and I had. I told him 15 years ago… I’ll be able to take you out of there so that you’ll be able to pursue one of your dreams that you love. I was his dog in the fight and he believed in me… I did every year with him at LAPD and he did every year with me, with rejection and nos in this entertainment industry…

This is my prayer for you. I pray that love finds you, true love, I pray it finds you and it holds you tight. I pray that someone will love you enough to see you when you are not well. To see you when you need true support… I pray that somebody loves you enough to sacrifice their life for you. I pray that type of love finds you so that you can understand why I don’t want my husband to put his life on the line any more wearing a bulletproof vest if he don’t have to. I want him to be safe. I want him to coach children the way he wants to. My husband has a nonprofit…

We should all pray for people like Miss Wendy and others who have either been so hurt or never found a genuine love that fills their heart with such compassion and joy… Now, I want ya’ll to go about your business and have the most amazing day and even if you can’t have a good one don’t y’all dare go messing up anybody else’s.

I want a relationship like that! What an amazing story Tabitha has. Her husband isn’t retiring to go have a second family like Wendy’s ex, he’s doing charity work with kids! I need to learn how to respond to people like this. It’s like smothering your enemies with a concrete truck full of caramel. This is how Tabitha Brown makes enough money so her husband can retire. She’s so phenomenally good at responding to this bullsh-t and at telling her story. In fact in the last post I wrote about her I wondered why she didn’t have her own show. It’s coming, just wait.

Wendy’s segment on Tabitha (it should start at that point, but if not it’s at the very end):

Tabitha Brown done told Wendy Williams “mind ya business, heal, and find real love you, sad, miserable bitch” but in the King James version. 😭 https://t.co/IEv4tQsX6M

I don't even know what Wendy Williams said about Tabitha Brown and her man, but when Tab started that IGTV with "God bless you" and "Wendy, the PAIN you must be in" I said "wait lemme go make a cup of tea and settle in"

This is a post from Tabitha’s husband, Chance. His Instagram is full of genuine love and support for his wife. They have two children, Choyce and Queston.
