Ethan Mbappe, brother of France star Kylian, made his debut for Paris Saint-Germain’s senior team in a friendly against Paris FC on Friday.
Mbappe, who is 15 years old and nine years younger than his brother, came on at half-time for midfielder Fabian Ruiz with PSG leading 1-0, as Christophe Galtier made a number of changes at the break.

PSG went on to win 2-1, but it was notable to see the youth player involved in a game with first-team regulars, including Sergio Ramos and Marco Veratti.
After the game, Mbappe posted on Instagram that he was “very excited to have made my debut in the pros”.
Mbappe followed in his older brother’s footsteps by joining PSG from AS Bondy in 2017, the same summer window that Kylian joined on loan from Monaco.
He signed a new three-year contract with the Ligue 1 champions in June 2021 and made his debut for the France under-16 side in November of that year.
Kylian Mbappe has meanwhile been starring at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where he has scored five goals in six matches.
His performances have helped France to the final, where they will play Argentina on Sunday, as he aims to help his country win successive World Cups.
Mbappe announced himself as a global superstar when he played a pivotal role in France’s triumphant 2018 World Cup campaign as a 19-year-old, scoring in the 4-2 victory over Croatia in the final.
